I’m pretty much aware of this “yield Gaps” in No Till as it happened to us also. The point is, there is always a logical explanation to it, we just have to find it so we can learn how to avoid this. Agronomic Consulting from Berlin Germany

The explanation for no-till problems is really very simple. It is in direct contradiction to the Biblical command to till the earth. Of course that is only part of the answer. If one believes that you can tell a good tree from a bad tree by examining the fruit it bears then all one has to do is look at the fruit of the tillage forms being practiced. It’s not impossible to see the differences and determine which forms are truly producing a blessing of good fruit.
The failure of soil to manage air and water exchange is the root of the no-till problem. It produces all of the rest of the manifestations such as sheet erosion/increased fungal pathogens/aging earthworm population/limited root development and nutrient stratification and more.
One of the most fascinating aspects of this topic is that the causative factor of the problems associated with no-till didn't exist in the earth until approximately 1700 years after God gave the command to Adam to till the ground from which he had been taken. Now we have the causative factor operating on a fairly regular basis and still men refuse to obey.
Then we have people who come into agreement with God's command and they can't believe that the solution could possibly be as non-invasive as the operation of a simple device like a Curse Buster tine.
